Description/ Steps

The setup of DigitalHQ is quite simple. It should only take a few minutes to configure and about 15-20 minutes to get the basic structure.

  1. To add DigitalHQ to your Notion account, simply navigate to DigitalHQ and press the Duplicate button on the top right of the page.
  2. Now that DigitalHQ lives in your Notion workspace, you should move the core databases to the sidebar.
    1. Make sure your sidebar is showing
      • Press the menu on the top left to expand or press cmd + \\
    2. Drag the main page, titled DigitalHQ, out of the Private section, into the shared section
      1. If this doesn’t work by default it is because you are not on a team plan. This is ok, but you will have to take a slightly different approach
        1. You can leave it in the private section or you can share DigitalHQ with the person(s) you plan to collaborate with
          1. Simply press the Share button and type in the emails of your collaborators
          2. For now, provide them Full access.
    3. Go to DigitalHQ
    4. Highlight the 4 pages in the orange block: , , , Drive.
    5. Drag them to the sidebar
      1. If you encounter the same problem as noted above
        1. Drag them to the private section
        2. Follow the steps above on each page
    6. We are doing this so you can access these key parts of DigitalHQ with the least amount of steps.
    7. When all pages are moved from the orange block, delete it.
      1. Press the 6 dot menu on the top left of the block
      2. Press Delete on your keyboard or Delete in the block pop-up
    8. The other columns should now expand, filling the width of the screen.
    9. The basic setup is now complete.
