Description/ Steps
The setup of DigitalHQ is quite simple. It should only take a few minutes to configure and about 15-20 minutes to get the basic structure.
- To add DigitalHQ to your Notion account, simply navigate to DigitalHQ and press the
Duplicate
button on the top right of the page.
- Now that DigitalHQ lives in your Notion workspace, you should move the core databases to the sidebar.
- Make sure your sidebar is showing
- Press the menu on the top left to expand or press
cmd
+ \\
- Drag the main page, titled DigitalHQ, out of the Private section, into the shared section
- If this doesn’t work by default it is because you are not on a team plan. This is ok, but you will have to take a slightly different approach
- You can leave it in the private section or you can share DigitalHQ with the person(s) you plan to collaborate with
- Simply press the
Share
button and type in the emails of your collaborators
- For now, provide them
Full access
.
- Go to DigitalHQ
- Highlight the 4 pages in the orange block: , , , Drive.
- Drag them to the sidebar
- If you encounter the same problem as noted above
- Drag them to the private section
- Follow the steps above on each page
- We are doing this so you can access these key parts of DigitalHQ with the least amount of steps.
- When all pages are moved from the orange block, delete it.
- Press the 6 dot menu on the top left of the block
- Press Delete on your keyboard or Delete in the block pop-up
- The other columns should now expand, filling the width of the screen.
- The basic setup is now complete.
